Project Description


The entire line connects Dakar to the new Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) in 45 minutes, featuring 14 stations over 55 km of railway track, 1 electrical traction substation, and 4 high-voltage substations. This exceptional project will provide Dakar and its suburbs with a state-of-the-art transportation system, incorporating cutting-edge technologies in terms of safety, reliability, comfort, and passenger services. It is part of the “Plan Sénégal Emergent” launched in 2014 for the country’s economic and social development. The project also reflects TRACTEDIS’s commitment to smart mobility and harmonious progress, respecting the planet and promoting better human development.

Our Services


TRACTEDIS carries out external review of the execution studies (EXE) and testing procedures:

For Electrical Traction:

  • One substation at PK 21+563

  • Four high-voltage substations at PK 05+014, 14+125, 31+588, and 44+869

  • Remote control stations along the line

For Signaling and Power Supply (CFO):

  • Electrical distribution for stations and stops (Dakar, Colobane, Hann, Dalifort, Baux Maraîchers, Pikine, Thiaroye, Yeumbeul, Keur M’Baye Fall, PNR, Rufisque, Bargny, Diamniadio)

  • Road crossings (front de terre, Cambérène, etc.)
