Project Description
TRACTEDIS has been involved in several scopes related to the EPTIC Technicentre in Clichy, as part of the creation of a new maintenance workshop.
The first assignment concerned the renewal of flexible lighting gantries. These gantries are tensioned above the tracks and catenary system. Luminaires are distributed along the support cable to illuminate the track areas between the rails.
TRACTEDIS carried out the necessary studies for the preparation of a tender dossier (Dossier de Consultation des Entreprises – DCE). The study was divided into two similar packages covering different tracks of the technicentre.
To properly complete the DCE, it was essential to understand the site’s infrastructure. The main steps included:
-
Identification of the power source
-
Analysis of cable routing
-
Drafting of calculation notes (lighting and electrical, using Dialux and Caneco BT)
-
Writing of the technical specifications (CCTP)
Following the submission of the DCE, and in collaboration with SETEC Ferroviaire, TRACTEDIS:
-
Analyzed contractors’ bids and assisted with awarding the contracts
-
Reviewed and approved the contractors’ design studies
-
Monitored the works (inspection and hold points, site visit reports, procedure reviews)
-
Participated in the pre-commissioning phase (OPR)
The second mission focused on the design of the control logic and schematic for the 25 kV switch supplying the workshop track. To simplify and reduce costs, the logic was designed using relays instead of a PLC. The study was completed under a tight deadline. TRACTEDIS reviewed the production during the VISA phase and during cable connection and testing.
The third mission was an emergency intervention. High-voltage cables were discovered during excavation for the new workshop. TRACTEDIS intervened at the 1500 Vac power supply substation, which powers pre-conditioning sockets, to perform a lockout. For additional safety, a remote cable cutter (“picoup”) was used, which checks the cable is de-energized before cutting.
